Let us introduce you to the One Life Fitness crew. We're an eclectic bunch of fitness pros from all walks of life. We all have one thing in common though. We love what we do and the change we make in people's lives...

Jack Kenny - Owner/Group Operations Director

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start a food company or invest in property I love food so would think of doing a pizza truck or something along the lines...And, you know, keep working here.
  2. The best piece of advice I've ever been given is cream rises to the top.
  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Must be willing to learn must be fun outgoing and enjoy interacting with people.
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be a chef because again my love for cooking and food.
  5. Cats or dogs? DOGS ALL THE WAY :D
  6. My favorite word in the English language is HELLO.. Its always nice to be greeted and feel welcome with a friendly ‘Hello’ when entering one of our gyms or anywhere in general.
  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? Making people happy through the power of exercise.

Gemma O Shea - General Manager Tallaght/Group Operations Manager

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start a Health & Wellness Retreat company. I love travelling, so combining training, healthy eating, wellness and travelling together would be the dream! And, you know, keep working here.
  2. The best piece of advice I've ever been given is to expect nothing and appreciate everything.
  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? There’s no such thing as a stupid suggestion or idea so never be afraid to pitch and plan something!
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I’d probably be a Physiotherapist or Nurse. (It was the only other thing I considered studying apart from fitness)
  5. Cats or dogs? Dogs, definitely dogs!
  6. My favorite word in the English language is. Oh wow! I have no idea. I am going to go with “shenanigans”.
  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? Seeing someone achieve their goals and being a part of their journey and of course organising and creating ideas for our charity events.

Veronica Spillane - Group Sales and Marketing Manager

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start a prosthetics company. And, you know, keep working here.

  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Work hard and be kind.
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be unemployed.

  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? My most inspiring part of my job is the mentorship, support and advice I receive.

John Doherty - Assistant Manager Tallaght

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start a private airline company so I could fly off on the weekends . And, you know, keep working here.
  2. The best piece of advice I've ever been given is: Do what makes you happy.
  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Make sure you are passionate, driven and enthusiastic to join! There are endless opportunities with the right mindset and attitude from the get go.
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be a Radio presenter because I love the sound of my own voice.
  5. Cats or dogs? Dogs all day long, need your dog walked I'm your man...

  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? Seeing someone progress day by day physically and mentally, there's no better feeling than genuinely helping someone on their journey.

Mick Hughes - Head Trainer

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start a limousine company. Nothing serious, or anything I inspire to do, mainly just a side thing for the weekends. I feel the people in the back of a limousine would have a few funny stories for me. Plus wearing a black tux driving around a merc for the night wouldn’t be a bad thing.
  2. The best piece of advice I've ever been given is JUST KEEP GOING, IF YOU STOP NOW YOU WONT EVER GET FINISHED ( advice giving to me as part of a project in secondary school when I was about 12, but still holds an important concept in everyday life now!)
  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Be prepared to hit the ground running, if you do there are huge opportunities for you here!

  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be a DJ. I do love my music, consider myself a bit of a dj as it is to be honest (through spotify and not behind the decks!)

  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? Seeing people finally realise that “fitness” can be a sustainable and enjoyable part of their lives. For too long fitness had to be an all or nothing approach, no nights out, no pizzas, no fun..

Jamie Stanton - Duty Manager

  1. 1)If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start my own gym chain. And, you know, keep working here.
  2. The best pieces of advice I've ever been given is “Always remember there is a way around everything” “Life is all about luck and the harder you work, the luckier you get".
  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Turn up, put the work in, have the craic and enjoy it.
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be working in civil construction.
  5. Cats or dogs? I like both but prefer dogs.
  6. My favorite word in the English language is retrograde .
  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? It’s a cliche but it is true, helping people on their fitness journey. Nothing beats the feeling of people telling you how much you have changed their life / mentality .

Eve O Mahony - Trainer/Fitness Team/Sales and Marketing Exec

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start renting property and investing. And, you know, keep working here.
  2. The best piece of advice I've ever been given is nobody's opinion about you matters unless you care about what they think
  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? You dont know everything but neither does anyone else we can all learn from one another
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be unemployed

  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? How wide range of people come here because they love being here
  8. This is not the case, you can enjoy all of those things and still be in a happy and healthy place. Seeing people get to this position, while still enjoying their lives, is by far the most inspiring part for me.

Johnny O Regan - Trainer/Fitness Team

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I would open up a few nightclubs and start my own clothing label . And, you know, keep working here.
  2. The best piece of advice I've ever been given is "Fail to prepare, prepare to fail."
  3. 3.What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? *Make sure you are a hard working , driven  individual who is willing to do the extra hours.
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be with my roots Grinding it away on the construction site.

  6. My favorite word in the English language is savage as I probably say it at least 100 times a day.
  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? Seeing the incredible transformations people make by putting in the hard work day in and day out and being able to be a part of that definitely inspires me to be so driven in my job

  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job - the most inspiring part of my job is when I see a smile on the person's face I'm teaching a class or instructing to that's when I feel the best

  2. The best piece of advice I've ever been given is Don't eat yellow snow. . . Or maybe always follow your dreams, whichever means the most the moment.
  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? The best advice is give you is be outrageous, be the person that goes up to every member and rocks out with them! Have a laugh, get to know every one, Be the person that people wonder "is this person crazy?" Because crazy is good, most of the time anyway!
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be a doing what I do best. . . Being weird, being crazy, and also lifting heavy stuff!

  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? Meeting and greeting all different people almost every day and getting to know them

Joy Quigley - Trainer/Fitness Team

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start a fancy yacht company, purely so I can use them all the time! And, you know, keep working here.
  2. The best piece of advice I've ever been given is “all you can do is your best”.
  3. 3)What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Aside from getting your qualifications and experience in the field, don’t be afraid to be yourself! If this industry is where you’re most creative and passionate, show it off! We’re all incredible humans in our own way – OneLife Fitness really allows you to be yourself, while working in a team of absolute legends!
  4. If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be surgeon - not that I actually have the brains to do that, but I think that job would be so cool!

  7. What's the most inspiring part of your job? Watching members and clients grow and absolutely smash their goals! Whether their goal is weight loss, improve strength, create a healthy lifestyle – sharing their journey with them and helping them along the way is without a doubt, the best and most inspiring part of my job!

  1. If I won the lottery tommorow I'd continue to work in one life fitness south terrace and set up my own coffee shop!

  3. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Just to have a good attitude and remember that we're all constantly learning as fitness instructors and pts so to remain teachable no matter how long you've been in the industry.
